Rakelli's Blessing

This little one is getting ready for her special blessing day.
Isn't that dress adorable? Her mom made it. She kind of had to she couldn't find anything that would fit her...she's too little. She weigh's in at 7lbs and is 2 months old.

Shadow

Week 30 of 52....Shadow.

The sun was finally shining...had to make a run for it the sun doesn't shine very much lately.

Today's session got rained and winded out...Ha! More later.

His Crib

Every time he wakes up he's always at this end of the crib...closest to the door to make sure he is heard. Man, love this little guy can't get enough of him...non of us can.

Gradutaion

Isaac and Talin were so crazy today. Completely GOOFY. It was so fun to watch them just be "little boys" in their pre-school graduation paerformance.

Its the One

I just fell in love with this shot from my session tonight. Its going to make it hard for me to edit the rest because I already found my favorite. BTW this family I went to junior high with when I lived in Orem. Its so crazy how many people I run into from school. At first is used to bug me but now I embrace it.

Its a Happy Place

Bryn was grounded today (for disrespecting family members yesterday) and Gabe woke up with a soar throat but miraculously got better...then, still chose not to go to school. They both had a few jobs to do for me. YES! I loved it. Its funny to say that it was a blessing to have them grounded we gotta a lot of work done. Later, I made a comment and wished they would be grounded more often. So then Greg chimed in to do some teasing. Lets say they may think more about the choices they are making if they don't want to do EXTRA jobs.
I loved this scene of them all getting along on the tramp. The photos also make me laugh because of the blurriness you know, the movement. I once took a shot like this with my "nice" camera and showed the shot to a friend and then she said, because it had some blur, "I thought you had a nice camera" I laughed and said thats what I wanted the shot to look like. She didn't really understand why I would "want" it like that but she just doesn't get it.

More Rain

It just keeps coming.

Suppose to be sunny on Wednesday this week. We shall see.

Sunday Dinner

Sunday is a day that I usually scramble to put together something yummy to eat and each time I am quite proud of myself of what I can come up with.
Today we are having ham, potatoes and some veggies.
Doesn't this knife look scary for her to use? But she wanted to cut the potatoes...she still has fingers.

All those weeds are GONE

Oh yeah, I spent a few hours working outside getting all those weeds pulled. Lets just say by the end of the day I was spent and fell asleep on my bed with out any bedding...that's so unlike me.

Kaden

I love taking my nieces and nephews out for a photo shoot...just the 2 of us. Its a way for me to talk with them and get to know them with out the influence of cousins and parents.
Love this cute little Kaden he is one silly boy. I love how the girls are so sweet and the boys are just crazy faced. But, I was able to get a few good smiles out of him.

Clear Skies for a Minute

Literally for a minute. It has rained so much in the last few days and the forecast is MORE rain. Its crazy how much it has rained but on the good side I don't have to water the lawn and its so green.

Ely's Poem

This is the poem I got from Elyse on Mother's Day. Love getting things that my kids make. She's come up with a few more since then. I didn't right them down and now I can't remember them. I'm gonna have to ask her again tomorrow.

Isaac

I have been thinking a lot about photo shoots for my kids. Lots of things are coming up...Gabe's Birthday then Elyse's and getting baptized and then Beckam will be one. Wow! Time is just flying by.

Beckam loves a swing

Can you tell as the days go by my posts get shorter and shorter. I just don't have time now to create this hug post. Maybe in June. But right now I feel like I am surviving.

Walk

If the weather permits a walking we will go.

Sweet Jessica

This girl has the sweetest spirit even with all the time she spends in the hospital having surgery on her brain. There is fluid in her brain and the surgery puts a shunt in to get the fluid out. Its close to her optic nerve and has made her legally blind.
She loves to tell jokes to. They are pretty good ones to. I love how she is trying to put smiles onto others while she suffers. Sweet spirit!

Soccer Tournament

Its tournament week this week. Winning Tuesdays game brought them to the final game today. So much excitement for today's game. SO FUN!!!! And even better they WON!!!!! 1st place.

Marcus AKA Boncus

Ha! He got the nickname from Greg. Greg asked him his name. He didn't understand Marcus was saying "Marcus" with an "M" so he called him Boncus. We all laughed and then he says "No, my name starts with an M like McDonalds."

Blossoms

I think we all LOVE to see Blossoms in the spring. Tonight the light was gorgeous shining thru the trees. I had to take a shot.

Warm Rolls

Sweet old Betty died this week. Just a lady we met moving into this neighborhood. We had a sweet visit with her around Christmas time...left her some homemade cards and sang some songs. For the funeral I was asked to bring some rolls. I went for the lazy method...buying them at the store but they were sold out. So, I made them late Sunday night into Monday.

Mother

I LOVE Willow Tree

I always love Mother's Day. I look forward to the gifts the kids make me from school. However, this year was a little sparse on the "things that kids make" I was actually a little disappointed...are they getting too old for the cute little gifts? Elyse and Isaac are still making them. No, I really love this Day. I always feel so Special!!!

Getting it Done

Elyse turns 8 this year. And we've already been working on the baptism photos. I make a lay flat book (from white house) that they can write down the thoughts and feelings they had for the day and even the interview with the bishop...it also includes signature's from family and friends. Its so CUTE!!

Breakfast

Gabe is such a sweetheart and I love him to pieces. This morning he made eggs for everyone and left some for Dad. He is such a responsible little boy...he gets up on his own makes breakfast and walks to school to get there early enough to play soccer. However, there is a side that shows a great sign of a lack of responsibility, his grades are horrible because he doesn't turn in his work. Seriously the kids is so smart but doesn't turn in his work. Hopefully he learns this lesson quickl.

Another Chance

Today was another day of shooting the Pre-school photos and the kids where much better than the last group. WOW! And my OCF lighting worked this time around...luckily yesterday was cloudy but the light is still better.

What was I thinking

I committed to Pre-School photos. And I left thinking what have I done...those guys where CRAZY. Its okay, I can say that Isaac is in one of the classes.
Since the weather has been crazy this year the trees don't have all there leaves.
I was trying to keep the shots outside and close to the school. I opted for a house down the road and it would have been great, if we had leaves on the trees and if they didn't burn the ground stuff.
It looks like crap...ugh! No time to change just go with it I thought. And then my OCF light wouldn't work...hey, no worries we have clouds.

Its situations like this that you just have to work with when you're called a professional.
