Dad and Elly have been reading most every night.They started with the series Fablehaven and read them all. And then moved onto Erogan and I think they are now on Brisingr. Those are some pretty big books for a little 8 year old but she loves them and so does Greg. Sometimes he gets into trouble because he will until midnight...on a school night. He is so naughty.

Meet Jub

This is my friend Stephanie's best friend. I know her a little...just from the wonderful stories that Steph tells me of her.
She has been diagnosed with breast cancer and just started her chemo. Chemo thru the holidays, bluh! As of right now (Dec 11) she is the hospital with a fever of 104 and its not going down so they will keep her for a week.
Stephanie will be documenting her story. I was asked to take the beginning stages so Steph could be in the photos.
I think of Jub a lot. She is one courageous woman taking it head on. I take power in that strength. She is a wonderful example to and so many around. She has touched my life and this was my only real interaction with her. I guess I feel like we've known each other for so long, thru Steph, and since the day I took photos of them I've become family. 

The Gilmores

My beautiful neighbor's...they scheduled so long ago and canceled a few times and then BAM...we found some time. I'm so glad we did.

The Big Balloon

Oh my heck this balloon is the coolest thing ever. Its HUGE, heavy and fun.

Repeat

I shot this beauty's senior photos a couple years ago and now she is getting ready for her mission. This session was so beautiful the color of clothes matched perfectly with the season, even though the leaves where gone it was still PERFECTION.

Married

My dear friend getting married and this time she asked me to take some photos to remember the day by. She seriuosly HATES getting her photos taken. I would take 1 shot and then hold up my finger and tell her to wait so I can get another. Worse than a 2 year old...come on Sid.

Wedding Dress

I shot Bryn in the dress but wanted to try it on someone that it would fit. SO FUN!!
And still the editing is horrible. Suzanne I actually tried the monitor callibration but it didn't work. I will be giving it another try.

The Payne Family

I meet this family from Bryn's soccer team. We met we bonded. Heidi and I can relate on so many levels I just love talking to her.
And seriously this session was so fun Heidi did a spectacular job on the clothes and the whole concept. I just took the photos.

Jakins Family

I LOVE this family to pieces. I've been shooting them for 4 years now and have loved watching them grow. Tarryn is a senior this year and will be graduating high school...WOW!!!
I just keep thinking its will be soon for my Gabe.

Since this girl was tiny she always hid her smile from me but you can see this time I got it. After I got the shot I showed her that she was smiling and she then got mad at me...a little funny.
