Snag

This little culprit has ruined all of our clothes. I would get my stuff out of the laundry and see that there was a snag in the shirts, skirts, soccer uniforms. underwear, some pants you name it it ruined it.
I couldn't tell where it was coming from so I brushed my hand in the washer and there was nothing to be found that would snag clothes. Got out the flash light to look in the dryer not once but twice to find the culprit, Greg looked twice, it wasn't until the second time he found this stuck in the holes of where the heat comes out for the clothes to dry. Yep this stupid tiny little thing has cost me a lot of money. UGH!!!

Kindergarten

Isaac is off to school. He was so excited to meet up with his buddies Talon and Cyrus. He was goofing off right from the start, its a good thing they are not in the same class. The one downside to moving is that Isaac doesn't get to ride the bus to school. But, if he gets it together he can head off to Talon's to play in the morning and then ride the bus to school with him. That's been a great solution.

Verds

With .50 cents in hand I would walk to this store everyday in the summer and come home with 50 penny candies, it was the best, and now they are closed. Good times!

Lightning

I have to say I LOVE lightning and thunderstorms. I love to see the lightning strike and to hear the pounding of the thunder and sometimes feel it. This year we have had no shortage of thunderstorms. In fact I think this is the most we've had of these storms.
Last night I thought I would attempt to get some photos. First off I wanted to get the horizon but wasn't sure exactly where to go. I found a decent spot got my gear out and set up camp...it was sprinkling a bit..."not a big deal" I thought. So I sat there for 10 min and had 15 shots...it seemed as if the storm was slowing down but the rain was coming so, I packed up and headed to the store. But by the time I arrived the thunder was so LOUD and the rain was pouring down.
I'm going to try this one again.

Justice Family

Some clients have this perfect shot in their mind of how the family photo should look. And I believe this family really wanted the posed look at you and smile look (don't get me wrong I do those for everyone and can get some great shots) but I LOVE these shots more.

Rio

This here is Rio a senior I shot 2 years ago and she is now engaged!!!! They are so cute together. I think Dave is going to be so good to her. Can't wait to shoot the wedding day...at Sundance.

Love me some SUPER HEROS

So, I have been wanting to shoot video and picture then combine the two and put it into a cool video with music. But first I need to shoot it...that's a little learning curve....then edit the photos (when do I have time) and then learn to edit video and put the photos in with music...you know the whole works.
Well the boys where all dressed up and once I saw this, I took advantage. They put on Incredible Hulk, Iron man, Superman the whole works...so, FUN!
So now I've shot the video and photos. Its just time to edit and figure out Primere Pro...YEAH!!!!

I've been behind on everything lately...my 52 week project and the photo a day...sometimes I miss a day and I don't care so much.
This photo is from the 52 week project and is Gum. I think I missed it by a month. But now I have it. Its not what I had in mind but it works.

My dear friend is getting married soon and I (special me...ha ha!) was asked to take the photos. Even though I don't do weddings...how could I not take her photos look at how photogenic she is.
I hate her for that wish I was photogenic to...no more about me and my lack of good photos lets look at this beautiful couple.

This one is Senior 2011. Yeah she's already graduated.
I think there was some hesitation but I finally got her talked into it.
Everyone is Beautiful.
I don't ever want anyone to "not" get their photo taken because they don't "have the look" I get told this sometimes...that they may not be pretty enough.
Not saying Abby said this I was reminded of what I have heard at times.

I've known this one since she was 14. Eek she is now grown into a beautiful woman and she is a Senior this year.

My 14 yr Anniversary

What a happy day. I have so many emotions running thru my brain right now because we have been thru so much that I really am blessed to have a wonderful to share eternity together. As my facebook status says:

Today, I have been married to my best friend for 14 years. My life has been truly blessed to have you in it. And I couldn't have asked for a better father to our 5 crazy wonderful children! Happy Anniversary Greg Bishop! I love you! You are my favorite husband. I'm so excited to be with forever.

then my sweet honey says:

I definitely got the good end of the marriage deal. I'm in love with you even more than the beginning of the experience.

We spent the night out to dinner...outback steakhouse soooooo yummy. It was a perfect night!

Since Greg found the nest it was time to kill them...and maybe clean out the cooler oh, and while your up there you can clean out the gutter's. It is kinda funny that they are that dirty that we had weeds growing.

Bee's

Found this Bee flying around today...wanted to get a photo of it but it kept moving. This was my best shot.
Also, we've had hornets in our home...apparently made a nest in the cooler. So every time I turn it on one of them will make way into the house then Beckam will find it, play with it or catch it...then he gets stung its happened twice now. Poor guy.

Elyse's Baptism

This little one is so fun to watch when she has something big in her life. The week before she had little lessons to pick out daily in preparation for her Baptism. And she also memorized the 4th Article of Faith (because Bishop asked her to). I love her willingness to do what is right even when she wants to wear clothes that are not modest. I don't know what it is but Bryn and Elyse have this fascination with skimpy clothes.
We are so proud of you Elyse for making this big decision in your life. We know that it will bring you happiness and joy.

Farewell

A farewell to our Chinese friends.

Sleeping Beauty

When this little guy was first born he was a horrible sleeper. I was a walking zombie for 6 months. I had a few nights that Greg would give me a break (I can hear everything) he had to get creative to find a way for me to not hear this little guy. And now he sleeps 14 hour night sometimes longer.
Once I took this shot he woke right up.
He is one light sleeper.
I also love the old look of this photo.
